Describe your position and task in one sentence
In my role as the SAP Next-Gen Innovation Manager in Munich I am liaising between different worlds to ensure that the right start-ups connect with research institutes, established companies, VC investors and governmental institutions.

What inspires you about your job?
Having the chance to build and work in an open Innovation Ecosystem aligned to a higher purpose - SAP dedicated it’s corporate strategy to the UN 17 SDG to create an essential impact to make the world run better and improve people’s life.

What is your big challenge in digital transformation?
Europe is much more innovative than many believe, by combining the strengths of the innovative power of the crowd and established corporates we can compete confidently in the world with the most successful B2B-Innovations – and help Europe be the bridge between the United States and China. There is still too much innovation potential that is not used, and we need still need to establish structures on a broader scale to support them.

What makes you special - is there a personal commitment or leitmotif to which you feel committed?
When I started in this role I defined my team’s mission as “Driving Innovation in the new world of ecosystems” literally to connect the dots between various partners and define new alignments that are necessary to foster purpose driven innovation using the cognitive power of a diverse network.
